I am deeply saddened to share the sudden passing of Constance Merritt. As the former Secretary & Vice-Chair of the Naperville Township Democrats, Constance made a huge impact in our community. Constance was a devoted volunteer whose kindness, compassion and tireless service touched many lives. Her dedication and warm spirit made a lasting impact on everyone she met. Constance’s legacy of giving will continue to inspire us all.

I have been informed by her daughter Kristin Merritt Bolduc that there won’t be a service in Illinois. I will post the out of state service details when I receive them.

We plan to honor Constance’s legacy at the next NTD meeting on Thu Aug 28th. I encourage everyone to share their memories about Constance on .

Constance was a friend to me and will be greatly missed and remembered always.

Dear LTDO PCs and Members,

We are so sorry to report that Joe Heneghan’s wife of many years, Barbara, passed away on Wednesday, May 28th after a long and very difficult health struggle.

Joe is a loyal, valued, long-time member and PC with LTDO, who has done much to help make LTDO the success it has become. Joe stepped in when necessary to complete the LTDO Chair’s term during the 2012/2014 cycle. Then Joe was elected as LTDO Chair for the 2014/2016 cycle.

Our thoughts and our prayers go with Joe and the whole Heneghan Family in this very difficult time, and may Barbara rest in peace.
