Questions for County Board Forum Sept. 14

Our next Membership Meeting is September 14th at the Naperville Municipal Building from 6:30–8:30 p.m. (sharp). We will host a County Board Forum for all 3 districts that overlap our township: 2, 3, and 5.

The DuPage County Board has several key responsibilities.

  • Lawmaking — The Board creates and enacts local laws and ordinances to govern county operations and services.
  • Oversight — The Board oversees county departments and agencies, ensuring they operate effectively and efficiently.
  • Public Services — It manages essential services such as public health, transportation, and housing assistance.
  • Policy Development — The Board develops policies that address community needs and improve quality of life for residents.

Please help us address your concerns and submit questions for our guests. Send your questions to claire@clairefordupage.com, and our committee (John Eccleston, Diane Hewitt, and I) will work to incorporate them into the program.

We will also HOLD A VOTE during this meeting to agree to endorse the candidates who were selected at the Naperville Slating meeting on August 10th. Please be aware that, per our bylaws, you must be a paid member who has attended at least 2 meetings to vote.
