What should I do on May Day?

On May Day itself, stay home from work or school and don’t shop–as you’re able! Different people have differing abilities to participate in an economic boycott. There are lots of ways you can participate:

• If you need to shop on May Day, use cash to avoid sending money to credit card companies.
• When shopping around May Day, shop at local businesses.
• Take advantage of local “free-cycling” groups where you can offer and pick up items for free from your neighbors.
