Please attend the City Council Meeting on Oct 1st and speak to ensure that if this referendum is on our the Primary Ballots. Let the voters decide and not delay for a year or two to place this on voters ballots.

We are hoping to have your support for the Opt/IN or out referendum to be in the March 17, 2020 Primary Ballot. Please Email the Naperville CC and attend the Oct 1st meeting at 7PM. If you wish to speak please PM Holly Hootman on FB or Text her at 773 369 5153 to get you on the list of speakers early.

Preferably the Naperville City Council would not prolonging the referendum and delay the Vote for the residents of Naperville which has been divisive issue for our community.

Election Security Funding

by Sheila Rutledge, Cty Bd Dist. 6 (slightly edited)

The chairman is looking at the budget NOW! We want to ensure that the County Clerk’s office will be fully funded to provide election security. We will vote in November. but the scuttle is that he will fund the Sheriff’s Office request but not fully fund the Clerk.

We need to pressure him now! His email is chair@dupageco.org.

You can come and give public comment at our board meetings on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month at 10am at the 421 County Farm Rd. building on the 3rd floor. If you want to give public comment come early to sign up. If you want someone else to read your statement email it with your contact info to me at sheila.rutledge@dupageco.org and I will find someone to read it.

I’m worried that he is going to throw Jean under the bus just to “own the libs”. This is IMPORTANT!
